Funko Gets Greedy with Friends Pop!s That Look Nothing Like Friends Characters

Funko proves once again that the Search For More Money has no bounds with its recent announcement of Pop! vinyl figures based on the now vintage, archaic, and mostly boringly beloved show Friends. Funko has announced seven new Pop!s based on costumed moments from friends. Smelly Cat Phoebe and Ross almost look recognizable, but if you walked into a friend’s house (because you’re not enough of a schmuck to collect these, right?) and saw this wave unboxed on a shelf, you’d probably think to yourself “Oh look– there are some Pop! figures for the thousandth time.” These toys are like the Kraft Ranch dressing of Pop!s, or even of toys all together– they’re creamy, a little sour, and you can sort of see some seasons speckled through the gelatinous globs of suspension, but nothing else about the milky white goop makes any sense.
